Designed in 2013, the Rê chair is named after to Renata Aragão, the wife of Fernando Mendes.
Behind the design
Fernando have a comfortable and functional structure in mind, gentle lines and beauty.
The striking line of this project lies in the seat and the backrest. When he first assembled the chair, Fernando found it ordinary, lacking distinctiveness. That’s when he got the idea to rotate the positions of the seat and backrest, resulting in a more powerful and interesting visual for the piece.
Its structure can be in natural or stained freijó wood, while the Upholstery can be in leather or fabric, with the stitching line matching the color of the upholstery.
