Fernando wanted to design a piece that didn't hide its construction. On the contrary, one that showcased it.
The idea was to expose the joints, decisions and other fittings between the parts. "To me, the fitting is more than just the technique, its the design language.
Por trás do design
Max’s design came from the Luiza Long chair, made into an armchair. Its lines reference the aviation world – an old passion of Fernando. The piece transmits the idea that it almost takes flight, but stays.
Detalhes
The upholstery can come in saddle leather, canvas or fabric. The sitting cushion(futon) and the header can come in leather or fabric.
